Elementary School
The Elementary Session is a week-long, non-residential camp that provides younger students with a chance to have new artistic experiences, find new ways to express themselves, and have fun learning a variety of art forms from outstanding instructors who are experienced artists and educators from around the country.

CIRCUS CAMP (New!) Grades 5-7 (Full)
Open to students entering grades 5-7 for the 2012-2013 school year.
Fly away with your imagination! Turn the world upside-down or turn yourself downside-up. Learn how to juggle, become an acrobat and create your own clown character in this whirlwind week of fun and laughter. Become your own ringmaster in physical comedy, imaginative storytelling, and improvisation. Only serious students of silliness allowed.

Elementary String Camp (New!) Grades 1-6
The Sitka Fine Arts Camp is excited to announce the first ever Elementary Strings Camp for students entering 1st-6th grade for the 2012-13 school year who play violin, viola, cello and bass.

Faculty
The Elementary String Camp is headed by Nina Missildine, a violin and viola instructor from Pennsylvania who holds degrees in Viola Performance and Music Education. Nina has also performed as a chamber musician at the Sitka Summer Music Festival.
FAMILY Housing
After many years of requests, we are excited to finally be able to offer family housing so that families from outside Sitka can come and be a part of our elementary school programs. In addition to the Fine Arts Programs, this is a wonderful opportunity to participate in the kaleidoscope of activities happening in Sitka in June including the Sitka Summer Music Festival, and much more. Housing is dormitory style. Each room has 2 twin beds and room for 2 children to sleep on the floor, with shared bathrooms down the hall. Continental breakfast is included. 4 people per room.
