Are you ready to rock?
Rock Band 101 is Sitka Fine Arts Camp's newest after school program for students. Featuring performance based musical instruction provided by Joe Montagna and other teachers who have been on the road, toured, and performed for huge screaming crowds! This is an opportunity for students to learn about every aspect of being in a rock band from the business to the gig. Students will have a weekly group rehearsal where they learn the tunes they're interested in playing. These rehearsals get young musicians to expand their knowledge of their instrument while playing with a band in a positive and fun atmosphere. There will also be performance opportunities throughout the class session.
